IMS PoC System (IPS) Introduction

IMS PoC System is the Juphoon's compliance with the OMA PoC, XDM, Presence regulate the use of an ordinary mobile phone application service PTT intercom system, the full name is the IP-Multimedia-Subsystem Push-to-Talk-over-Cellular System. Push to Talk service is the use of IP technology to achieve a "point" and the "multipoint" voice communications services, using half-duplex communication mode, that is, at the same time only one person can speak in order to facilitate group communication, user experience similar to the the traditional walkie-talkie, but supports more than traditional walkie-talkie feature-rich and has much broader coverage of the distance.

IMS PoC Service End to End Solution

JPoC (Juphoon PoC) that contains the IMS UE and IMS AS (IPS) end-to-end total solution. Which, UE, and IPS to comply with the interface between the OMA PoC Service Interface Specification. The agreement includes below protocol standard:
Based on UDP / TCP to SIP protocol for session control
Based on HTTP, XCAP protocol for user-related XML document management
Based on UDP RTP and RTCP protocol for users to carry voice data stream and voice control

JPoC solution able to access any line corresponding protocol specification version of the OMA PoC terminals, including third-party Support OMA PoC-standard mobile phones, PC terminals or other forms of embedded terminal.

IMS PoC System Architecture

PoC Server: To provide PoC session control and management functions, Media flow control, negotiation and transfer functions, voice control function, the implementation of access control policy, providing PoC-related XML document management functions, providing billing information etc functions.

Media Server: Media handling mechanism available, including voice and video channels, Media Broadcast and Media storage and other value-added services

Presence Server: For receiving, storage and distribution of PoC Client for Presence Information

XDM Server: Used to manage contact lists, PoC session is black and white lists, PoC groups and authorization rules for XML documents

Register Server: For user registration and authentication, if it is an independent system mode, then only through the interaction with the HSS fast registration service. AS if, as access to IMS core network, Register Server that is, a proxy module, connected to the public authentication Server for user registration and authentication

HSS: Mainly to the Register Server, PoC Server, Presence Server provides user information management. If it is, as AS access to IMS core network, HSS that is, a proxy module, through the Diameter message to the public to interact with HSS Module

OMA PoC Service Deployment

JPoC provide end to end solution either as an independent system works, you can also access to IMS core network as a dedicated PoC Application Server. If, as an independent system, the terminal can communicate directly with the Server, registered with the local user database authentication and so on. If access to IMS core network through the SIP, XCAP, Diameter, and network management protocol with the Proxy (such as the P-CSCF, Aggregation Proxy), BOSS, network management, public Authentication Server, Shared XDMS third-party network elements such as docking.
